I co-directed, co-wrote, and acted in a film for my high school senior project in 2015. Entitled Project Hugo, it traces the story of a Russian criminal mastermind abusing his power.
I am a strong advocate for holistic education in history, and I formed a coalition in high school to orchestrate a revision of the California State Standards for U.S. History. Our five-person group sent a letter to State Superintendent of Education Tom Torlakson, were featured on CBS News (video), and were invited to proofread the new History-Social Science Curricular Framework.
I practice Vipassanā meditation, and I completed my first 10-day course in August 2017. I also attend Awakin circles in New York, London, and Santa Clara.
